Ok, so I’ve been talked into doing another journal smurfing competition. Only I’m doing things a little differently this time. I’m actually going to have two competitions… One is for the menu bar over on the left there, and the other is in conjunction with Mel‘s journal entry today.

Well, that’s the new photo smurfing bar all updated… Only 4 people entered this time (*cries*) But they were very good entries, so it was well worth it

They do say it’s the quality not the quantity that counts, and I certainly got good quality entries!

I’m debating whether to change the layout of the swydm journal. Instead of posting each individual entry, I’m thinking of displaying the main page instead (which any swydm readers are seeing now). What do you think? Yay or nay?

I’ve been so lax in replying to journal comments this week. I shall endeavour to rectify this oversight the moment I rise… (I’ll read and reply to them in the morning :-p)

Well as you may notice… I’ve been out playing with the camera, and got my two photo journals working.

*bounces hysterically*

I’ve also had a couple more people want to enter my journal competition, so I’m holding it open until Wednesday, just to make sure there’s no stragglers

So far I have 4 people with entries… Now I always said I was not going to beg for entries… It’s just too pathetic…

Ok, so I’m pathetic… Enter damn it!!! I had about 700 reads last month… And only 4 people can work a camera?? At this rate I’m going to have to throw standards out the window and start offering sexual favours in exchange for entries…

I wish! I think I need a holiday. More for the change of scene than anything else, but then it’s hardly surprising… The last time I went on holiday was 13 years ago in Scotland, and as I recall it rained for almost the entire time, and since it was a water sports activity holiday, the sea was too rough to really do anything.

Oh well, I guess I’ll have to make do with a couple of days away from the Internet (or at least an attempt at that). I can’t seem to find any inspiration at the moment and I think my brain is fried!

I thought I would leave you with this.

How good must that be, to have a blog, to be designated the official blogger for a TV show (plenty of interesting material to write about there), and to get to be an extra on the same show…!

It’s smurfing time!

First the rules and then the entries so far:

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it…?

A dramatic re-enactment of a movie scene, captured by photo, either a single photo, or a series of photos, your choice. Just remember, the more the merrier, and the use of props is required

The best 5 will be journal smurfed (their picture will go in the photobar for a month so the whole world can see!

Entries can be emailed to email me left in the comments section, or if you are a member of swydm.com, you can PM them to me. The choice is yours.

The closing date will be Saturday 10th April, with the photobars being updated on Sunday 11th April.
