Ever seen a frog with jaundice?

If I don’t move they’ll not see me…Another rare visitor popped into the garden not 10 minutes ago, this one was a little yellow frog, so it’s either in full camouflage gear and living in one of our yellow plants, or it’s got a slight liver problem.

Runaway FrogHe was a quick little critter though, I only barely had time to grab the camera and snap a couple of shots, so the focus isn’t all it could be.

I’ve been out for most of the day (yay me!) I got a nice little host of photos, but I’m too pooped to process them for posting, so I’ll have to keep that until tomorrow. For now I’ll just leave you with a baby wood pigeon.

We’ve had a whole flock of baby starlings floating about the place the past few week. You can see them growing up and getting their adult feathers, but we’ve not seen any other babies yet.

Once upon a time we used to have swarms of baby sparrows at the bird table, all flapping their little wings with excitement and demanding to be fed. But that’s been a few years now.

Still, tonight we finally saw another baby. This time it was a baby wood pigeon.
