  • Isn’t it silly, I’ve spent all day procrastinating, yet if I just got started I know I can have it all done in about half an hour. #

It’s a black fly in your Chardonnay…

Don’t you just hate spending hours trying out a new recipe, only take take one mouthful, gag violently and then have to figure out two things.

  1. How do you dispose of it if it’s too thick to pour down the drain but too runny to put in the bin
  2. What are you supposed to eat now?

Needless to say we went for the pouring down the sink option for issue 1, only to block all the drains.  All these years and we’ve never had a blocked drain.  We actually had to go out and buy a plunger to clear it. 8O

And this mountian I must climb…

It’s time things changed around here.

I’m trying to get back on my diet and get off all the chocolate and back to healthy food and more fruit and vegetables.

I’m also trying to dig out my exercise machine.

It’s been six years since my last CFS relapse and I’m getting more than a little stir-crazy.  The past month is the first time I’ve actually felt unhealthy though, so it’s time for a change.

First thing I’ve done is sign up to twitter.

The Smurf Report – Twilight

04/11/2009

Rating: ★★★★½

I sat and watched Twilight last night, for the second time this week, and I have to admit I was quite impressed.  I’m not quite sure what I expected as I’d not even heard of the books, let alone red them, but it’s safe to say I must be the only person in the Western World who didn’t really realise that it involved vampires.

It’s not that I have anything against vampires as such, but so many vampire tales do tend to be a bit heavy on the occult.  Fortunately in Twilight the fact that several of the characters were vampires was secondary to what is essentially a love story.

Time to say goodbye…

I had some bad news the other day, our little Hedgehog didn’t make it, she died on Sunday morning.

I really thought she was going to be OK, but I guess their little bodies can only take so much before they just can’t recover.
