Another rare visitor popped into the garden not 10 minutes ago, this one was a little yellow frog, so it’s either in full camouflage gear and living in one of our yellow plants, or it’s got a slight liver problem.
He was a quick little critter though, I only barely had time to grab the camera and snap a couple of shots, so the focus isn’t all it could be.

We had a cute little visitor in the garden today. It was so tiny!

I was doing my usual paddling around the internet yesterday checking the following weeks DVD releases for anything worth having, when I came across an item connected to the new Fantastic Four film.
Apparently the actor Chris Evans (who plays Johnny Storm) has decided he no longer wants to do any shirtless scenes in movies so people will take him seriously as an actor.
Oh the poor dear, how my little heart bleeds for him, to look like that, have a body people would kill for, and not to be taken seriously.

Strange looking sky we had tonight. Here’s some pictures (clicky for the big version) and they are exactly as it looked, other than resizing the image for loading speed they’ve not been edited in any way.

I kind of walked into this one. You’d think after 32 years I’d have learned to keep my mouth shut wouldn’t you?
Daddy Dearest only finished work last night for 2 weeks holiday and already I’m about ready to slaughter him in his sleep!
Doesn’t really bode too well for his survival rate by the end of his two week holiday does it?
But I’m getting ahead of myself, maybe I should explain…

Yesterday I mentioned the slight feeding frenzy there’s been lately with the birds flocking to the bird food. Well the main culprit is the Starling. It’s a pretty looking thing with petrol coloured feathers once it’s an adult, but they’re noisy, greedy and tend to squabble a lot, so they’re not the most welcome of visitors to people’s gardens as they tend to frighten off a lot of the other more timid birds. I couldn’t get close enough for a decent shot, so I did a quick google search and snaffled a close-up of one to show you (as usual, give it a click for the full size).

I noticed several little faces popping up out of the tree next to us yesterday when I put seed in the bird house. They’re getting used to the rattle of the box I keep the stuff in, and it only takes a couple of minutes for them to pop up like a slice of bread out of the toaster ready for a feeding frenzy that would make a shark proud!

Some days I swear there’s something mentally wrong with me.
I did all that patio cleaning on Wednesday, then today I dug my little toy back out again and did the driveway, than after lunch I did the stones around the garden that I missed on Wednesday.
You’d think I’d have such a sense of achievement, getting all that done all by my lonesome.

What a day it’s been.
I should have known. I was up by 6am (not like me in the slightest) and then took a wander to the bottom of the drive to bring the wheelie bins back up. I was so excited (have I mentioned I don’t get out much?) it’s the first time I’ve managed to leave the house in 4 years for anything that didn’t involve a funeral or a hospital appointment.
Naturally me being me, I figured I should take advantage of my mysterious health improvement.
