Help me Rhonda, help, help me Rhonda…

I give up.
Someone come and take me to the nearest Amish community, get me away from all this technology.
Today’s disaster is the digibox (again). We only had the guy out to re-cable the damn thing on Tuesday. I came to watch it last night, and the pictures all distorted again.
I don’t get it, I really don’t. There’s four digital decoders all connected to the same aerial, one goes into my room, one into the living room, one into the kitchen and one into the main bedroom.
The others work, but mine is off.
So like I said… I just don’ t get it.
I spent the afternoon changing all the cables in case one of them was damaged. No success. Then I swaped the digibox with the one from downstairs which has been working perfectly. Also no cigar.
So I’m not totally confused. The Aerial cable is brand new, I’ve changed every cable, swapped sockets on the machines in case one had shorted out… Pretty much everything. But nothing.
The picture is still a multitude of blocks with both sound and picture cutting out every couple of minutes.
All in all, ten out of twenty channels are just about unwatchable after midday.
Yes another strange fact, I can watch in the morning and the problem starts around lunch time and gets gradually worse until evening (when anything worth watching starts) at which point the signal is so bad it’s unwatchable.
Well I say signal, the unit reports signal strength to be excellent.
So either I have to become Amish, or I need a digital television expert to explain to me what’s the matter with the darned contraption so I can get it fixed once and for all.

That’s so strange! I don’t get why you’re having so much trouble with your digibox either.

All very odd, although I think it’s sorted now… Three days with a working television signal so that’s got to be a good sign… *waits for TV to blow up*
