I had my second physiotherapy appointment last week and I’m beginning to have my doubts how well it’s going to work out.

I was at the appointment last Friday, and today is the first day I’ve been able to actually move like a normal human being since. Not really a very good sign is it?

It’s supposed to be a therapy, not inducing complete incapacity.

Still, it’s been informative if nothing else. Guess I’ll just have to see what happens next trip there in about 3 more weeks.

NUMPTY!

Two days without broadband and I’m not a happy fraggle! I’d forgotten just how slow dial-up is… And it doesn’t help that so few people seem to use dial-up anymore that sites are bigger (and slower) than ever.

I put in a request for a speed upgrade about a month ago, so I can go from 1 meg to around 5 (yay!) Only some daft numpty got a bit confused and ignored the upgrade and issued me with a MAC code, effectively locking the service until I either switched provider, or waited 30 days till the code expired before the upgrade could be reactivated.

I’ve never been a big fan of clothes shopping, but today it was just getting silly.

I had to go into town for a haircut, so I figured I might as well take advantage and try and get some clothes… Especially when I worked out I hadn’t bought any for seven years, I thought it was about time to replace some of them!

Usually I hate shopping because I can never find anything to fit, but today it was just one thing after another.

Welcome to the new look bloggie

I’ve been a fan of movable type for several years now, ever since I picked up my blog and tootled off to my own web-space. But now it’s time for a change!

Movable type has served me well since about 2004, but it’s just not keeping up anymore. It won’t do email blogging, I can’t access it properly through my PDA, and there’s been a few little things here and there I’ve been trying to tweak for months, but they’re having none of it.

Since the web server has just had a nice overhaul, I figured it was as good a time as any to give my blog one too.

So with some sadness I’ve finally got everything packed up, backed up, exported… Yadda, yadda, yadda…
