I was over on Scott’s journal earlier reading about his joyous experience of the unemployment course/seminar/training scheme. It reminded me of my own experience with that.

Actually it went so well I was pretty much banned from ever going back… Nice to know I did something right I guess

It does make you wonder how the people hosting them manage to get jobs when the people forced to endure them can’t…

But I’m getting ahead of myself as usual…

Well the helicopter didn’t last very long. A whole three minutes in fact.

Safe to say it’s not quite what I was expecting. I knew it was going to be small, and light… But I was expecting something a little more substantial than a couple of bits of polystyrene glued together.

Still I could live with that if the daft thing even worked.

I even looked at the instructions first, like a good little boy…

I did something last week that I said I would never ever do.

I applied for my first ever credit card.

I felt so grown up

Naturally I then had to go and spoil it by buying a remote controlled helicopter… Suddenly not feeling quite so grown up as the kid in me is beating the adult, and I’m more excited at the prospect of the helicopter than I am at the idea of a credit card.

Sad I know…

Wooohooo I’m back up and running.

My hostess is back, so the site is finally back up and the server being looked at, and my ISP seems to be working again so i can actually access email and do more than log into sites for it to then time out on me.
