It’s a long way to Tipperary…

Looks like the server my journal is on bit the bullet again last night.
Just like last time, I was trying to upload some photos, and the whole server seemed to get stuck in a perpetual loop.
My web hostess is kind enough not to blame me, but I’m the one who keeps harping on about needing Image::Magick updated so I can use images in my journal.
Poor girl, I must give her such a headache…
I whine for an update, she then has hours of trouble trying to get it to install and work without breaking anything, and then it all goes horribly, horribly wrong anyway.
*sigh*
Still, at least we’re being moved back to a much more robust server centre, which will do all the initial installing as part of the service.
I’m guessing they use a different version of Linux that doesn’t have such a bad reaction to certain modules being installed.
Then I might be able to get the handful of journal entries that have sat here for weeks waiting for photos finished and posted!
Viva La Revolucion… Umm or something

You seem to have many problems with this server. I hope they get it right sooner or later, preferably sooner!

Yep the server hasn’t been all that stable off and on for a while now. I gather we’re being moved back to an earlier one that was much more robust and better service from the datacentre. The only reason we were moved from it was because some ISP’s were blocking the IP address for some reason.
