Why do I watch QVC? Can’t someone duct tape the phone and my card details somewhere I can’t reach them?

I looked at it earlier for less than 10 minutes and I managed to buy a tv card for the laptop and have an uncontrolable urge to get skype, just so I can order the nifty little telephone handset they had on.

I’m so weak…

Ahh workmen, don’t you just love them?

Who else can give you an appointment time and turn up 3-4 hours early or late and act like this is perfectly acceptable and normal?

We’re getting a carpet fitted today. After 10:30 they said.

I get out the shower and find they are here and busy working having arrived before 8:30.

Apparently somebody in the store’s grandmother has had a stroke in the night…

Not to be cold and nasty, but do I care? What has that got to do with out carpet? Was she supposed to be fitting it?
