I’m still siteless… although mostly because my backup was a few days before the server blew up (or ate itself, there’s still a debate on that one) and I’m too lazy to install it, to then have to take daily backups in case they manage to recover it from the old server and dump it ontop of the new site.

So no proper journal, no comments, just this scrappy thing (which I hate)

Am I the only one who finds the new site design overly complicated, confusing, messy, and generally offputting? (not to mention the fact that I can’t get anything to work anymore)

Glad I didn’t take advantage of the December renewal offer. I’ll keep my account, don’t want to lose track of everyone I’ve met here, but it’s such a mess, there’s not even any point actually paying for membership anymore.

Ahh well… time to go hunting for cheese… I hear it goes so well with whine

No journal, no website…

The hosting server has died and taken everything with it… There’s not much chance of getting any of it back

On the plus side, I usually leave my backup on the server, but I downloaded it last month while I was updating my journal software, so at least I should have only lost one or two entries plus their comments…

*makes mental note to actually download weekly backup, rather than just letting the server keep it*
