I think I’ve got the last of the things I need for my great idea… Only now the software I needed is crashing every time I load it up… Not happy!

Oh and in case anyone had noticed and was wondering, I’ve retired my second journal, AlcaSmurf, for the time being. It didn’t work out the way I was hoping, taking life and changing the setting was a good idea as far as it went, but I didn’t give enough consideration to the fact that I actually needed to have a life to write about… So it’s taking a hiatus until I gain a life, then it’ll come back as a “Dear Diary” affair, while Naked Fraggle will remain my thoughts and insane ramblings.

Now… it’s off to bed with this Fraggle!

Well the plan I mentioned yesterday is coming along. I’ve been doing a little light pilfering, mostly on grounds that if I don’t ask people can’t refuse

Don’t worry though; it’s all tasteful and if it works it’ll be worth it… Just a few more things to get, which looks as though it’ll be a couple more days before it’s done.

My grandfather has another chest infection so he’s acting very odd again. I’m not sure how many more infections his system will be able to cope with… The home is very good, and do seem to take very good care of them, but at his age (he’s 87) there’s a limit how much his body is going to be able to take.

I caught a bit of Jerry Maguire on something I taped… And I’ve just had the greatest idea…

So if you see me wandering around… It’s nothing to worry about… Just have to get sorted and install some software ready… Should be tomorrow…

I’ve been trying to get my hands on some photoshop software, since I keep hearing how good it is, and I thought it might save me the hassle of having to use 4 separate editing packages to enhance/repair the photos I’ve been scanning.

I’ve ran into two problems though. The biggest one being the cost. I think charging over £400 for a piece of software is daylight robbery to say the least! Not to mention you’d think they would be able to figure out that more people would buy it if they reduced the price to something actually affordable which would in turn increase their profit margins.

We’ve had American Idol shown over here for the past 3 weeks or so, and I have to admit having a slight weakness for the show. I find it far more interesting than the British versions. I think because here we have “Pop Idol” so they only want people singing pop music (except when it suits them to have someone who sings differently). In America they seem to take a much wider variety of singing styles, which I think is much better.

Not to mention the people seem more interesting… Or scary depending how you look at it
