A whisper in the wind…

*wails* I’ve lost my voice!
It’s true, for the first time in recorded history I’ve actually lost my voice… It’s never happened before. I’ve been a little croaky at times, but it’s never abandoned me completely before…
*checks under bed*
I wouldn’t care, but people have been praying to all manor of deities for years, just in the hopes that this day would come.
*glances out window at street party in celebration*
:sigh:
I’m not a happy Fraggle!
Last time I felt this bad was 8 years ago when I came down the Influenza B which was the cause of my current ME infested health problems.
Who knows what the aftermath of this will be! I’m not particularly looking forward to finding out though, that’s for sure!
*continues scouring cupboards for missing voice*
Well… It can’t have gone too far… Unless it somehow managed to grow legs…
Oh dear…
*crawls at high speed to check all the doors and windows are closed*
Thank goodness we don’t have a catflap!
I think I’ll go back to bed now… All this typing is quite tiring…
:sleepy:

yeah that happened to me once its quite unpleasant… I had to take time off work unpaid too as I couldnt do my job at the time which was to coordinate a fast turnover kitchen… when your voice comes back like Mel points out… it can be quite squeeky for a while… this doesnt happen with all people though I was told…

Slurpie - You say that like it would be a bad thing
On Wednesday I sounded like Eartha Kitt, yesterday I sounded like Scrooge McDuck, today I sound more like Mutley… Who knew I was so versatile? :-p
blulady - *hands you binoculars and a net* shout if you find it… I’ll squeak as loud as I can
Scott - Squeaky I can live with… I’ve been squeaky for years :-))
