Oooo that’s just too funny!

I’ve always made a point of wandering through the latest photos lists on any ratings sites I’ve joined. Then I rate them based on how interesting they seem, how likely it is that they would be good to go out and have a laugh with, that kind of thing.
That being the case, I never distinguish between the male or female members of the site. Fun and interesting is independent of gender after all. So I really don’t care if they are male, female, vegetable or mineral… They all get rated on the same scale.
So imagine my surprise when I was trawling through the latest swydm.com male members, and clicked on a profile to try and see a slightly less fuzzy picture (I couldn’t tell if it was vegetable or mineral :-D). But what did I see?
I see this guy saying he’s not gay (who cares?) and apologizing to a list of people… Including me!
=)) I was ill! Actually it was just what I needed today; it’s been too long since I’ve collapsed in hysterics at the keyboard!
Maybe it’s just me, but I find it so funny that people can automatically assume that if you look at them, you obviously fancy them.
I just don’t know how they can do it. I know a couple of people like that here. Someone looks at them twice, and they just must be wanting to ask them out.
It never seems to occur to them that they could just be looking in that direction… Or that maybe they are looking at them because they are standing in front of the escalator and the person is trying to get on…
Could it be that?
Well I would have said so… But in their little world, it’s a sure sign that they want to date them, marry them, or at the very least take them home and show them the bed linen!
Sad… Very sad!
Bad enough in person… But on a profile on the internet?
That’s not just sad, it’s downright pathetic! Which is why I’m not going to humiliate the person in question by naming them.
It does show one thing though; they may have appeared interesting or funny way back when, while we had forums and other such things… But it proves that even the most interesting people can be shallow and depthless little puddles at heart!
