Yes the postman arrived with a nice package and was suitably molested in my haste to see what was being delivered… But that’s for a later entry
Right now I’m uploading my photos to my new gallery. It’s taken longer than i thought to set it back up. I had left all the files, so I didn’t think it would take any effort, but it’s been so long since I did anything with it, I managed to mess up the settings because I had forgotten what to do :hair:

But it’s set up, and now just requires me to upload all the images… :sigh: It could be a long night!

I swear the only way to find out what time our postman is going to turn up is to sacrifice small children and attempt to read their entrails…!

It might not get you any closer to knowing in advance, but by the time you clean up afterwards, he should have arrived!

It’s his own fault though, and if I had been feeling 40 years younger, and had a turkey leg… Who knows what would have happened!

I don’t think I slept at all last night… Which could be a good or bad thing. Some of my best and worst journal entries have occurred during similar states of sleepless zombification…

Does anyone else find it odd that you can wash your clothes and they smell fresh and synthetically fragrant, then you pop them in a scent free wardrobe… Yet a couple of days later when you come to actually wear them… Suddenly a handful of them always smell like stale vomit?

Maybe it’s just me that happens to, but I just don’t get it. If it were the washing detergent, I’d expect it to happen to all the clothes, and if it was the material, I would expect it to happen to all the clothes made from the same material… But it’s only a handful. :shrug:

It’s all change today. My gallery has gone bye-bye. I’ve taken all traces of the software and files off my website. I’m going back to the journal gallery I used to have, it’s more fiddly to upload the photos, but it’s much easier to shuffle them around and it’s a doddle to integrate it into my journal.

My new journal is all set up and ready to go, I just need to start writing in it, and then link it into swydm.com… That’s easy enough…

And I’ve just discovered one of my favourites has deleted their account, so now I’ve got to go and redo my whole smurfing bar :boxing:

Well Saturday was spent scanning old photos and repairing them. Sunday was spent repairing them and printing them. Today will continue printing them, then start scanning and repairing the next batch.

So far I’ve scanned and repaired 77 photos, with 33 left to print and a further 6 left to scan, repair and print…

It’s no wonder I can’t feel my mouse arm
And my joints are bad lately too… I think it’s the cold weather.

*whimpers* I sound so old! Not to mention decrepit :-((

Three and a half hours of scanning, followed by 4 hours of photo editing and repair work, and I’m only half finished.

I’ve always made a point of wandering through the latest photos lists on any ratings sites I’ve joined. Then I rate them based on how interesting they seem, how likely it is that they would be good to go out and have a laugh with, that kind of thing.

That being the case, I never distinguish between the male or female members of the site. Fun and interesting is independent of gender after all. So I really don’t care if they are male, female, vegetable or mineral… They all get rated on the same scale.

In thinking that everyone has lost their motivation of late?

People are writting in their journals less, seem to be getting less visitors and less comments.

I know I sometimes sit here for ages trying to think of something to write, and then struggling to get it onto the screen.

:sigh: Can you get group mental block over several continents, all at the same time?

We got some bad news today…

Our dentist is retiring in January…

This is not good! You have no idea how difficult it is to find a good dentist… Or maybe you do, in which case you will understand my concern.

I’ve been going to the same dentist since I was born, and thanks to him and genetics, I don’t have a filling in my head! :dances:
