Days go by and still I think of you…

It seems like forever since I’ve sat down and written a journal entry. I changed my password last week, and it’s been so long since I was in here, I’ve forgotten what it was :-((
But then it’s been one of those days anyway. You know the sort. The kind where you get up and within 10 minutes you just know you shouldn’t have bothered.
First off I get an email from a company that sells CD’s and CD singles. I sent them a list a few weeks ago of CD’s I want to sell. They’ve been sat on the floor taking up space ever since.
Naturally, it being one of those days, I got an email saying that they aren’t interested in buying any of them. So it’s back to the drawing board :sigh:
Our dishwasher broke a couple of weeks ago and we got the replacement last week. Only it was filling with salt and all the cutlery was going rusty.
The engineer came out and condemned it as having too many major faults to be worth repairing. So we had to contact the insurance company who had sorted out the replacement, who told us to contact the shop that had delivered it, who had no record of the engineer’s visit, who they couldn’t get in touch with…
:-((
Told you it was one of those days :-p
I got my new broadband router and wireless network card… Only to find that the drivers for the new card are conflicting with something and crashing the whole system… So now I have to do a full format and reinstall (again) before I can use it properly again.
The new printer arrived today and I spent most of the day sorting out the loft ready for it… Only when we unpacked it, I took one look at it, one look at the step ladder into the loft and decided there was no way at all that it was ever going to go up there… It’s just too heavy to lift that high above your head.
So it’s back to the drawing board for that too… Now we’re going to have to start moving shelves, wiring, the computer server and maybe even a cupboard so it will fit under the desk… There’s just nowhere else to put it, and now I’ve bought it I can’t send it back because it doesn’t fit and we’re all too weak to lift it where it will fit…
Of course that doesn’t even cover the fact that the step ladders took one look at the printer, one look at us and burst out laughing whilst saying “There’s no way I’m holding that and your weight!”
:sigh:
Somebody shoot me… Please?

Poor Mark! You’ve had an awful week.
Wow…so that’s the snickering noise I hear when I attempt to use a stepladder. They laugh at us! How rude!

blulady - Well it could just be my ladders… But I definitely hear the odd singger here and there… But then I hear the same noise from the scales too… :scales:
Laughlikecrazy - Yours too? It’s an epidemic I tell you!
