And were left with monotony
And nothing to say.
I thought about using one of those football theme songs, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it, since they get worse every year!
Headline News England is out… They lost…
Erm… I mean :-s Oh no!
My life is over… England lost… How will I go on *puts hand to head and flops down in chair dramatically*
I just can’t go on, knowing that they lost

Not tonight Josephine… I’ve got ze headache…
Ok, so the headache went a few hours ago… It’s just that I’m too lazy to think and I can’t be bothered
So here’s one I started last night, and forgot about… Since the works all been done (what there is of it) I’ll post it.
Oh and thanks to blulady for the first entry into my journal smurfing contest (details in previous entry *points down*) I’ll post them tomorrow :bounce:
Snaffled and yoinked from charlie20

What Type of Villain are You?
Well, here’s the second mindless entry of the day :bounces: and the second B-52′s song for a entry title… :dances: Man I’m good :-))
Since I spent the better part of the day in bed feeling like death, and then the next couple of hours playing a computer game, I’m just going to give you a quick reminder about my journal smurfing competition…!
The original challenge is here… But since everyone wimped out and cried about it being too hard… :grrr:

Have you noticed how many technical support departments don’t know anything about the product they are supposed to be assisting people with?
I know I’m not the only person to notice this.
In the past 5 years, I’ve had to ring 3 maybe 4 technical support departments, and it always ends up the same thing. I call, I explain the problem, I tell them that what they are suggesting isn’t even possible on the product in question… Then after several minutes I get the joy of explaining their product to them…
There’s something so wrong with this picture…

I really need to start doing some proper journal entries, but it seems that everything has been taking me away from the computer lately…
Part of the problem is that I’ve kind of lost interest in the Internet as a whole lately… Plus I got a new computer game a while back, which is eating into my time (one of the main reasons I don’t get computer games as a rule!)
But besides that, there are just some things that can’t be left any longer… Floors have to be vacuumed once the dog hair becomes so thick it takes more than 5 minutes to wade from one room to the next… Dusting has to be done when you have to ask the dust mite to sit still because you can’t see the television for their heads… And things have to be generally cleaned, tidied and sorted when it takes you several minutes to find anything important… Like your own feet, and paperwork takes anything between 1 and 6 months to find…

Typical!
The postman tried to deliver a parcel last week, but everyone was still asleep (even the dog) and nobody heard the doorbell. When I got up, there was a card through the door with the number to call for redelivery. Of course, they don’t bother putting on who the sender is so you know how important it may be…
Rang the number Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, no answer… in the end I faxed them a request on the Tuesday… I got a phone call on Wednesday morning to say that they would love to redeliver it… If they can find it again…

Erm… Please don’t!
I actually liked the original film, although I don’t know of many who have actually seen it… But this was… Well it’s hard to describe… It’s identical, yet nothing like the original… Confusing I know.
The following is taken directly from the DVD case:
“Higher stakes, hotter grooves, more attitude!”
That’s the tagline on the front cover.

It has to be said I love a good legal drama, and nobody writes them as well as John Grisham!
That said, I think the films based on his books are among the few times when the story actually works better as a film than it does as a book… Mostly because of the attention to legal and procedural detail, which, unless you have an understanding of those things already, tend to make the books feel a little slow and heavy going. A film on the other hand lets you see the scene and detail without it actually mattering whether you fully understand it or not.

I had a couple of entries all planned out to write… But I decided to spend five minutes catching up with some journal reading first… I now almost wish I hadn’t.
The journal I’ve just read was a very short entry, I didn’t even realise it had been updated, since I hadn’t had a notification email.
Now I’m sitting here in floods of tears, trying to type without getting the keyboard wet… It’s a good thing I’m getting better at touch typing, since I can’t actually see the keyboard!
