Napster to download music from the internet… Shhh!
Actually, it’s fine… I never saw a problem with the file sharing software (well apart from the constant inflow of virus files). During the three months I used napster, I actually bought more CDs than in the three months before and after combined!

I’ve been sitting here glancing at the forums (whilst attempting to watch a DVD that I’m just not in the mood for… but that’s another story)
I’m not sure I’ll ever understand why people get themselves so worked up over things on the internet, and then feel the uncontrollable urge to sprout forth a volley of insults, name-calling, rude, cruel and generally snide comments in the most public place they can find. Not to mention the way these people just have to try and make everybody else around them pick a side…

Well it’s that time again…

Time to get my files sorted and backed up ready to reinstall the computer which is beginning to crash around my ears again… One of these days I’ll get a version of linux I like and never have to reinstall it again!
But until then… I’ve been doing a little light yoinking (some people call it pilfering, but I find the term… provocative…)

Following on from last nights entry, lets talk cash. I don’t understand the whole money thing. I know people who smoke, drink, are paying for an expensive car (and running it) buy designer labelled everything, are always on their mobile phones and go on expensive holidays. Yet when I was working, I paid my board, paid my mobile phone bill (which was always very low) and paid a couple of other small monthly bills.
Now they are spending all that money, I’m spending hardly anything, yet when I sat and worked it out, if I wanted to get a car, I could either afford to buy it, or I could afford to run it. I couldn’t afford to do both.
