I was watching Flash Gordon last night… It’s a shame the special effects haven’t aged as well as those in Star Wars… It made it look a little dated…

Still a good film though! I could never understand why they didn’t make a sequel, especially after the last little bit of the ending.

Does anybody else find that they keep track of time by the films and the music of any given year?

I now feel so old! I didn’t realise that Flash Gordon was released 24 years ago… I remember seeing it the first time it came on TV a year or so later…

So of course in usual fashion, the world suddenly has to revolve around him, so he can lie in bed all morning, get waited on hand and foot as soon as he gets up, and when he does eventually get up, he spends the rest of the day draped over the sofa in the living room, where nobody is allowed to make a sound, people have to come running if he wants a video put in or can’t quite reach the remote to change the channel…

I was talking to someone today about doctors and hospitals? She was saying that she had been prescribed mediation by the nurse at our doctors? surgery (probably because there is no full doctor there anymore-long story).

Well, she asked how it would react with her current medication, and was assured that it would be fine, well needless to say it wasn?t, and she spent most of Saturday in a great deal of pain, and most of Sunday at the Emergency Doctor.

I’ve been very lax today… It’s 5:45pm and I haven’t done a single entry.

So far today everyone seems to be having a rotten day. I’ve read of sickness, robbery, stalking, family problems, getting the run-around from government departments…

It must be something in the water.
