So you're already placing yourself into a situation where you can be misunderstood. Not a good start when it is the only means of communication sometimes between you and another person far away. To start with, you’re communicating to other people through a medium that, more often than not, lacks such things as tone of voice, facial expressions, body language and touch and intimacy. So you’re already placing yourself into a situation where you can be misunderstood. Not a good start when it is the only means of communication sometimes between you and another person far away.
