Well, my broadband router is away back to be replaced (again) I swear, it would have been cheaper buying it locally instead of from the internet, given that I’ve already spent about £20 in postage returning it, plus the three and a bit weeks I was without it and back to dial up last time it was away (and came back battered, beaten and in less working order than when it left here!)

I had forgotten how slow modem speeds are.

If I have to put up with this for too long, there will be only one thing for it…

A train ticket to the supplier and a large shotgun!

Murder is obviously the only option.

Anyway, given the speed of dialup, and the fact that it’s tying up the phone, I won’t be online much for the next few days (they’ve promised that the replacement will be here in 2 days *holds breath and turns blue*)

*looks in mirror*

Ooo, look, a smurf!

*coughs*

Anyway, I probably won’t be posting any entries for the next couple of days, so I thought I would explain the details of the journal pimping competition. (For the whole 1 regular reader who visited here in the last 30 odd hours)

I’ve decided it’s time I got to enjoy some karaoke, since I haven’t been out the house (socially) for so long.

So your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to do a karaoke voice greeting. The top 5 entries will be pimped over on the side bar there for a month until I work out next months competition.

The song choices are all television theme songs, as follows:

Rescue Rangers
The Smurfs
Fraggle Rock
Duck Tales
Gummi Bears
The Muppets (Or Muppet Babies if that has a theme song - I can’t remember)

If anyone has another option (along the same lines) feel free to PM me, and if it’s ok, I’ll add it to the list of options.

I could do with a couple of people to judge, if anyone fancies it (they can still enter, in fact it’s expected) and the closing date will be Monday 10th November.

Oh, if you want to record the entry as a wave or MP3 file, feel free, PM me and I’ll let you know where to email it.

Don’t forget to state your user name in the greeting/file so we know who we are listening too.

*sits back and waits for anyone to enter*
