Sorry for the delay to everyone waiting for the “official” behind the scenes wedding story. It is half done, and will be posted as soon as possible.

On second thoughts given the night I had yesterday, and the lack of sleep I’ve had the past week, I’m going to take the day off, get some rest and come back to it fresh tomorrow in the hope that I won’t have double vision by then.

*sigh*

It will be with you tomorrow afternoon at the latest, but I’m having so much fun, I don’t want to rush it and spoil it.

Today is not one of my better days.

I’ve both looked and felt better.

Now admittedly, I’m not looking bad for a 300-year-old zombie corpse that hasn’t slept in 150 years since it was dug up by the locals.

But since I’m supposed to be human (ok, mostly smurf and muppet, but there’s enough human to be getting on with) I think it’s safe to say I’m not at my best.

Today is a rather nothing entry. I got broadband working happily yesterday (finally), and as I suspected, got up this morning to find it had all died.

It looks like the broadband modem is faulted as it keeps dropping the signal, and changing frequencies without any warning.

All this laughing over the whole “wedding” thing just reminded me today. A few months back, when I was at work, I think, we were discussing people?s sense of humour.

Someone said that I was scary. (They’d just been watching Emperor?s New Groove, so I think the actual term was scary beyond all reason) The end result was that my sense of humour was so wacky, people were never entirely sure how to take me, and how much I was joking and how much was real.

Yay broadband is up and running.

Kind of.

There is something in the kitchen wall that is interfering with the wireless signal. So the one place in the house I am currently using the internet is the one place in the house (and garden) that I can’t get a decent signal. On the plus side, I was right about one thing. There is a great signal for use whilst sitting in the toilet. *smiles innocently*

Well it would appear that Kimboly and I are getting married on Friday (I know, believe me, it?s as much of a shock to us as it is to you!)

Well obviously it will be an online affair. We were both happy to stick with a 47-year engagement, but Slurpie decided that we should get straight on with it and get married on Friday.

Well in true muppet/smurf fashion I will be posting an account of this event in my journal at the weekend.
