Stupidity and Intelligence are worlds apart. If people have a lower intelligence, you can just tell, and you make allowances. But then there are the stupid people who just need a good smack.

I always think of common sense as having two parts. There’s the obvious part, like don’t touch hot objects or you will get burnt, don’t walk out in traffic or you’ll get run over. But then there is the other sort, the sort that when a person opens their mouth, you’re left wondering if their brain is actually wired up to everything the way it’s supposed to be.

That’s it!

Enough is enough.

Since workmen/tradesmen/repairmen are incapable of understanding what a doormat is used for (no it really isn’t ok to use the carpet instead). Nor are they able to wash their own clothes apparently (No I don’t believe that you’ve got that dirty so far today, I’m your first call remember!). So I’m going to sort them out.

There has been a lot of talk about age over the past few days. How old is too old to be on this site, how old should you be to participate in the forums, how old before you can date, what should the age gap between couples be. Yadda yadda, yak, yak.

You know what? Who cares?

Age is a matter of perception. I don’t feel any older now than I did when I was 16. Yet at 16 I was too young for things, now at 28 I’m too old for things. Why? What difference does it make?

I had a rough night again last night.

I was getting my lunch yesterday and suddenly thought “I’ve got a PM” I left my lunch (how sad am I?) put the computer on, dialled into the Internet, and guess what, I was right. I did have a message.

I woke up this morning and was sure I had a couple of messages. When I finally got online, I had one. But I then found I had one on Journalspace. So I was right again.

I’ve had an all time visitor high today. 101 profile visits within 24 hours and 200 journal visits this month (yay me - think I’ll get to 3oo before the end of the month?)

I think I’d like to hit the 1000 mark for my journal next month. (Do you think that might be stratching too far too soon?)

Not sure why but I’ve got that song floating around my head (in an Irish accent too). Freaky!

I’ve had 65 profile visits in 24 hours - Wheeee!
And my rating’s an 8.8 - of course ratings aren’t important (who am I kidding - yay me!)
And my journal’s been read 183 times - Ooooooo!

Well I picked up my emails this morning. I’m getting really sick of spam. About 8 emails about viagra, 9 about getting my penis enlarged, 4 telling me I too can have bigger breasts, 2 about health insurance, 5 get rich quick schemes, 3 selling me software to copy DVD’s on my CD drive, 4 offering me a credit card or a loan and 1 telling me I can meet singles in my area.
