Well the original title was going to be Zzzzz…Thud, but nah I’ve already used Zzzzz before. Plagiarism?s all very well, but it’s just not the same when it’s stealing from yourself!

Having said that I am so tired. Two 8-hour days and two 14-hour days this week. Managed to do 44 and a quarter hours over 4 days at work.

On the plus, I’ve learnt more in the past 4 days about networking and linux in general than I have over the past 3 months of trying to set up the network. And I got to take an old computer home to use as a network server for a home network I’m going to set up (I always like to think something is coming out of these long hours of sleep depravation!)

So I’m now spending the day installing the server, and reinstalling the laptop (then more phone calls to sony about the non-working modem, which of course they are still denying.)

Then I’m installing linux to have a go with, which looks like it’s going to be fun. It’s nothing like I expected.

But as to the questions? How come everything goes wrong when it should be the most simple task in existence, why will no-one take any responsibility for anything and who do I have to kill/sleep with (nah let’s stick with kill) to get some service out of sony?
