Yikes!

Got finished at 11:15 last night, which wasn’t bad.
I’m totally wrecked.

I don’t know how the bar and kitchen staff do it day after day, 10 hour days 5-6 days per week then it’s a 70 hour week for at least a month in the run up to christmas.

I’ve done 9 hour days before, first 14 though. All I did last week was 32 hours over 3 days and I’m totally finished.

I don’t envy bar and kitchen workers. On their feet all day, with all the heat from the ovens, day after day, week after week. One word… Respect! How can you not, when they can keep up a pace like that?

Well, I’m away back to bed (got a new dvd to watch) Got another day off before I’m back in. So after several phonecalls to sort out the laptop (yep it’s still busted) some major web programming and downloading linux to have a try of, it’ll be back to bed with the dvd :-D
