Lifes Little Questions
06/03/2003
Why is it people can have really good photos in their galleries, yet they choose to use possible the worst one as their profile picture?
Why is navel lint always blue/grey or red?
Why is it when you vomit there is always carrot there, and frequently peas, even if you haven’t eaten them for days?
Why is it nicknames are either shortened versions of a name or something totally different?
Why am I stuck with a name that can’t be shortened and I get called French or Italian versions, both of which are longer? (I want a cute little nickname) *pout*
Why does the kettle always take longer to boil if you stand and watch it.
Why does time go faster if you are in a hurry, yet slower when you are bored?
Why is it that good TV shows so often get cancelled before the story is finished; yet poor ones can go on forever?
Repeats. Why is it TV will show ok/poor shows until you’ve almost memorized every episode, but good tv shows are never seen again?
How come people in soaps only eat every few weeks, and never go to the toilet?
How come Mystery Inc (Scooby Doo and friends) could solve endless mysteries, but never thought to take a second set of clothes with them?
How is it Designer clothes cost 2-3 times more than a non-branded equivalent, yet the material always looks so cheap?
Why do we teach our children to walk and talk, then tell them to sit still and shut-up?
Why do we spend time inventing washing machines and tumble dryers, to then develop clothes that have to be hand washed and drip-dried?
Oh and finally…
Why is it when you are running late your bus is early, if you are on time it could be early or late, but if you’re early it’s always later than ever?

Snowboardkid, sorry, but there’s still the knitting idea…

Faceless_Kitten, I wish, it’s the effects of week old brain-strain. If I ever went into overdrive I might actually be dangerous
Oh and thanks for stopping by, we’ll be back with more useless questions after this public service announcement…
