Another day another technical nightmare.

I’m still doing at least one 14-hour day at work over the past few weeks and it’s finally starting to kill me. I’ve had 4 days off and I can still hardly walk, or even move for that matter.

I was hoping that I could keep going until the network was all finished, but it’s not looking too good so far. Back to work tomorrow, then a 14-hour day on Friday (the last one I hope!) If not I’m on the verge of total collapse, and too many more days is going to push me over the limit.

Sony sent me an external modem to try in my laptop (I think they are finally agreeing that there is something wrong with the internal one.) But the one they sent keeps crashing the computer as soon as it is inserted. Take it out and everything is fine. So I had to buy one myself. That one works. But it will only send faxes, it’s not working on the Internet. But the internal one has come back to life again. But my telephone extension cable has given up.

One question… “Why me?”

There is something so addictive about these photo-rating sites. I was trying out webscutest.com today and suddenly realised that I had been online for 4 hours not the 25 minutes I was planning. They don’t have many users and the forums aren’t a patch on SWYDM, but its kind of fun.

Ohh, I bought a new computer game (I now have a grand total of 5 4 (one won’t work on windows XP) So over the last 2 days I have spent about 18 hours playing Diablo II.

I’m starting to wonder if I have an addictive personality when it comes to computers.

Well Diablo is calling…
