I hate mornings. 5:30 is NOT a respectable time to get up!
Well it`s now 6:30, I`ve had my fruit juice, now time for a yoghurt drink, then shower then my morning run out of the house to chase the bus down the street, before having to charge around the corner to try and catch the next one. Hard to think the bus stops right outside the house and I regularly end up staggering around the corner like a geriatric smurf because I`ve missed it again.

Have I mentioned how much I hate mornings? Or how much I don`t want to have to go to work today?

Urghh!

I just don’t understand what is going on around here at the moment. Two weeks ago the forums were jumping. Loads of posts, some very interesting and very funny threads (you just can’t beat smurfs and jujitsu bears). Since then the forums have been slowly dying.

People are getting far too handy with the modpoints (mostly downmodding I notice) some people can be as annoying as they like, and get minimum modding if any, other people can post a reasonable post, and are downmodded to within an inch of their lives. Either everyone is feeling irritable at the moment, or there are a few too many people who find it impossible to be sensible. They aren’t interested in a thread, so it just HAS to be downmodded.

Sorry got distracted. Don’t know why, or where it came from but this has been running through my head all morning, so I had to get it down on paper, and thought I might as well post it. I’m not sure what it is. It’s not a story, doesn’t read like a poem… What would anyone else call it?

Wheeee! The day wasn’t a total bust after all. I finally managed to find somewhere that sold the keyboard and case for my ipaq, and a a good price too. (Can you believe they actually charge up to £90/$144 for a keyboard???)

New profile picture is up and I can see it now (Now I can die happy, I thougt I was the only person who couldn’t see the new picture). I can’t make up my mind between the old picture and the new one. The old one had about 25 votes with an over all of 8.2. So far the new one has 4 votes 3 10′s (thank you to the three of you) and a 6 (oh well I guess they can’t all be 10′s) giving an overall of 9.2.
I think I like the new one better, but I’m not sure. Guess I’ll see how it goes. I can always spend another hour taking photos trying to get a decent one

Well, on that note, I’m happy, I’m fed, and I’m going to bed. Oh and the Jelly Babies survived to be decapitated another day!

Have you ever had one of those days where you just KNOW everything is going to annoy you and you just want to buy an entire box of jelly babies, for the sole purpose of ripping all their little heads off? Or is that just me?

So far today I think I’ve managed to fry my digital camera, my webcam is showing everything in the single technicolour of blue, I’m drowning in a growing pile of junk and papers, I got a rejection letter from a job I liked the look of, the wording of which makes me almost certain they already had someone lined up for the job before they advertised…

A nice slow day today, took our dog to the vets this morning for her acupuncture. She’s still the only dog they have who at 15 walks into the place and walks around the whole building without stopping until she gets seen by the vet. We must have done over a mile today whilst waiting. Not bad for a dog with the most degenerated knee joints the vet had ever seen!

Just about finished ripping my cd single collection too. Wheee! It’s only taken a week. I can start putting them onto minidisc next week and clear out the originals, make some space to reach the bed.

Well, looks like the chest infection I’ve had for the past 10 days is finally clearing. Whee!
So it’s back to job-hunting, then back to work next week.

You know, I don’t get it, why is it so hard to find a good job? I went back to work in October, started keeping my eyes open for other opportunities from December and since then have turned down 4 or 5 jobs because they either weren’t suitable, weren’t what they actually advertised, or I just didn’t like the employer. But I still haven’t found anything I REALLY want.

Another day another germ. I don`t mind being ill. Tonsillitis twice a year as a child saw to that. It`s the sleeping and breathing problems I could live without.

Last night was another fun filled experience. In bed at ten, still awake (and coughing the whole street up) at three. I have to lie on my left side to ease the chest pain, on my back to keep my head clear and on my right side to get rid of the tickle in my throat that makes me cough. Add to this the fact that the cold means I have to breath through my mouth, and the fact that I`m producing a lot more saliva than usual. All this leads to me lying in bed on my left side; head twisted backwards to the right with my mouth hanging open and dribbling like a deranged person. Such an attractive sight. How glad am I that I don`t share my room with anyone?

Plus to top it all off, the antibiotics are kicking in, so I feel even worse today. Oh joy, only a couple more weeks to go
